'Coupon' is a verb!

Some of you know how much I love to 'coupon'. Today's trip to CVS proves why and how much I love it!

Hannah and I ventured into CVS today to take advantage of the $3 Purex 3 in 1 coupon that was in this weekends paper and CVS's B1G1 free deal. Remember, at CVS you can use TWO coupons even if one item is free! On my way up to the counter with my 6 things of Purex 3 in 1, a woman who works at CVS hurried up behind me and said, " Excuse me! I see that you have a coupon notebook... you HAVE to come check out our 90% off aisle!" Well you don't have to ask me twice! I turned the corner and entered coupon heaven!! Here's the DL on what I left with:

6- Purex 3 in 1's
1- 2 pack Born Free bottles
1- 3 pack Playtex bottles
1- Shania Twain perfume
1- Lucky perfume
2- Gilette body washes (travel size)
1- Axe spray (travel size)
23- tooth brushes (Oral-B, Colgate, REACH, CVS, GUM)
2- hi lighters
1- math pack (calculator, protractor, pencil, etc)
3- pens
3- cookbooks

IN- STORE SAVINGS: $179
TOTAL SPENT (after lots of coupons): $21

Needless to say, what an amazing trip to CVS! I'm thinking stocking stuffers, Operation Christmas Child boxes, and stock-pile :-)

Have you found an incredible deal lately? Want to learn more about couponing? If there's enough interest, I'll do a mini-lesson soon :-)

  1. Maybe you could do the lesson for people who HATE coupons?! I just can't seem to be able to do it and I get frustrated and quit!
